About Katoomba Falls

Hi Guys,
Only if you really think about Blue Mountains National Park?! We have more detailed information about wine tasting tours

Something in the Blue Mountains that gets into your blood. Maybe it’s the eucalyptus trees filling the air with that signature blue haze, or the cliffs glowing gold at sunset while the birds sing their sunset chorus. Whatever it is, each time I drive out from Sydney, I’m reminded why this World Heritage Listed National Park is one of Australia’s most beautiful landscapes.

For years I’ve led travellers through this landscape — from Echo Point and the Three Sisters to Jenolan Caves and the Megalong Valley — and take it from someone who knows, the you can’t do the Blue Mountains justice in just a day. They’re a natural escape from the city, a natural cathedral of sandstone cliffs, waterfalls and gum-scented air.

Just 90 minutes from Circular Quay via the Great Western Highway, the Blue Mountains is part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, a conservation area spanning more than a million hectares that extends as far as Wollemi National Park. It’s a patchwork of steep gorges, rainforests and eucalypt forests inhabited by over 400 kinds of Aussie wildlife, including curious wallabies, shy dingoes and the famous lyrebird.
