Falcom is already working on the next Ys game , thought we don’t know if it’s Ys X , a remake, or a spinoff. In the past, Toshihiro Kondo mentioned multiple developers at Falcom would like to make an Ys V remake so that might be it. Ys VIII Mobile is still in development as well. And a new Kiseki Vs Ys game can happen too. These are all games we could see in 2
If the beginning of 2018 has taught us anything, it’s that Dragon Ball Z can deliver a fantastic tournament fighter if it wants to. The high-octane fighting the franchise is known for lending itself well to the fighting genre and the next step for these otherworldly characters to test their power levels will be on the small screen in Dragon Ball Legends. Smartphones and tablets have become incredibly popular gaming platforms, though the nature of the touch controls seem like an unusual instrument for carrying out combos. After experiencing Dragon Ball FighterZ, it’s only natural to have some skepticism about the format transferring to the small screen, but given Bandai Namco’s recent track record, this title deserves to be examined with an open mind.
Apex Legends is one of the most popular battle royale games on the market, and with EA seeing the success of battle royales on mobile devices, it makes sense that the publisher would want to see the game on the platform. However, EA’s CEO has confirmed that Apex Legends on mobile has been pushed back, with a new release date window provi
In its Q3 earnings call (the same call during which EA talked about the power of next-gen consoles ), EA revealed that the mobile game isn’t being developed in-house; instead, EA partnered up with a Chinese company to both develop Apex Legends mobile for a global release and distribute it in China. According to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen, “Rolling mobile out in China, you need to have a partner, and we’re—as we’ve said in the prepared remarks today—we’re working with a partner there, and we’re very excited about the opportunity. That partner is also helping us develop a mobile Apex for the globe—more to come on that in terms of timing.” EA’s Chinese partner wasn’t actually named in the call and considering it’s fairly early in the partnership, that’s likely the reason that EA doesn’t have a release date for the game yet–although there is a release wind
Genshin Impact ‘s world seems both foreign and familiar in the same breath. The world of Teyvat hasn’t been explored in other games like Hyrule has over the past 34 years , but seems like it’s existed for a millennia. This might have to do with Genshin Impact using real world nations as inspiration for the regions found within the game, such as Liyue being based on China or Snezhnaya with Russia. Each region has its own Archon with godlike power and overarching political structure, and is accompanied by a seemingly endless amount Arena Of Valor Walkthrough l
To correct this, Respawn attempted to make the player progression in the game more engaging by providing greater challenges for players. The changes were made in a “calculated manner” with the expectation that players would have a better time with updated Apex Legends ‘ Season 7 content that would be more fulfilling. Especially without purchasing more Battle Pass levels to do so. Of course, the developer didn’t count on the amount of grinding this would create, as well as the resulting player backlash that follo
EA announced its decision to bring its popular battle royale game Apex Legends to mobile devices last year, but fell more or less silent on the subject until its recent third-quarter earnings call. During the call, EA finally confirmed that the release of Apex Legends for mobile is moving forward as planned, as EA spent those months of radio silence locking in a publishing partner in Ch
Wilson then went on to reveal that the game will arrive in “FY22,” which is a lengthy period from October 2021 to September 2022. While Apex Legends is clearly a ways off for mobile players, confirmation that it is still coming and on track to complete development soon is reassuring. There will supposedly be a few new features in the mobile version of Apex Legends , though it is unclear what features, if any, will be missing from the main g
At the very least, Apex Legends fans do have something in the very near future to look forward to, as the game’s season 4–titled “Assimilation” –goes live on February 4. Beyond that, fans can at least be assured that the mobile title they so enthusiastically wanted remains a definite reality; it’s coming, but there’ll be a bit of a w
Both PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite have proven how successful mobile versions of console and PC battle royales can be, and it is easy to see why EA would like to replicate that success with Apex Legends . Call of Duty is another major AAA title that successfully transitioned to mobile devices, with the game’s many achievements making Activision Blizzard want more mobile games for all its major franchises. While EA may not be looking to go quite that far just yet, the release of Apex Legends on iOS and Android devices makes plenty of sense from a business standpo
